Funding Subgroup
The Public Health
Funding Subgroup is formed to support the
Agenda for Change
efforts which focus on developing a long-term strategy for
predictable and appropriate levels of financing public health.
The subgroup will define core capacities, activities, and
services that should comprise the core of public health services
available in Washington and funded by state and local flexible
funds.
The workgroup is co-chaired by
Barry Kling, Administrator of Chelan-Douglas Health District and
Gregg Grunenfelder, Deputy Secretary of Washington State Department of Health. Workgroup members
consist of a diverse group of public health professionals across
multiple disciplines from various governmental public health
agencies. All of these individuals play a critical role in
understanding the factors that impact local, state and national
public health.
