Standards
Workgroup
The Public Health standards Workgroup is
formed to guide and strengthen the governmental public health
system in Washington State through standards as well as help
prepare the system for voluntary accreditation.
The workgroup is co-chaired by
Torney Smith,
Administrator of Spokane Regional Health
District and
Susan Ramsey, Director of Performance and Accountability in Washington State Department of Health. Workgroup members
consist of a diverse group of public health professionals across
multiple disciplines from various governmental public health
agencies. All of these individuals play a critical role in
understanding the factors that impact local, state and national
public health.
