OFFICE OF PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

The Office of Public Health Systems Development focuses on strengthening the governmental  public health system in Washington State. Our main purpose is to identify strategic ways we can make the public health system work efficiently, effectively, and smoothly, so that both state and local resources are used to the best advantage. We support the Department of Health's mission and strategic plan by engaging partners; assessing the public health system and conducting system planning; identifying and prioritizing actions to be carried out, and supporting learning and development opportunities.
