Looking for PrEP?

PrEP is a highly effective medication prescribed by a provider that can prevent HIV infection when taken as directed.

  • PrEP has been shown to reduce the risk of HIV-1 infection through sex or injection drug use.
  • PrEP does not protect against other sexually transmitted infections or pregnancy, so condoms and other prevention methods may be recommended. Learn more about PrEP

How does PrEP DAP work?

PrEP DAP may be able to pay your provider, laboratory, or pharmacy for your costs for generic PrEP medications plus certain medications and health care services related to sexual health care and prevention.

PrEP DAP has a statewide network of providers, laboratories, and pharmacies that will submit your bills to PrEP DAP for payment. PrEP DAP pays the bills if you are eligible on the date of service and the medication or services is covered by PrEP DAP.  Learn more about PrEP DAP Coverage.
