Boil-water advisory ends for Town of Carbonado
OLYMPIA -- The Town of Carbonado has announced that drinking water customers no longer need to boil their drinking water. The test results show the water is safe to drink.
Utility crews repaired the broken water main, flushed the lines, and took water samples to test for bacterial contamination. The water system issued a boil-water advisory Wednesday, August 31 as a safety precaution after a construction accident damaged the water main. When water lines lose pressure, potentially harmful contaminants can enter the water system. The advisory affected the entire town, which includes 238 homes.
Customers with questions can call the water system at 360-829-0125.
