Washington State Department of Health developed a model curriculum for HIV/AIDS education. It is called Know HIV Prevention Education for Health Care Facility Employees. This curriculum is intended for educators teaching classes for health professions licensure.
The course covers specific topics which are required by law. Licensing boards have individual requirements with regards to the specific topics. Different licensing boards may have different topic selections.
