- Beginning January 1, 2021, health care professionals (excluding physicians) who are offering telemedicine services to patients, are required to complete telemedicine training. - The Department of Health has adopted amendments to the substance use disorder professional (SUDP) and substance use disorder professional trainee (SUDPT) fees and renewal cycle rule, WAC 246-811-990 (WSR 18-09-077 (PDF)). The amended rule increases application and renewal fees for CDPs and adjusts late renewal penalties and fees for verification of credentials to meet department fee standards for all health professions. The rule took effect August 1, 2018.
