Information by Location (IBL) Mapping Tool for Health Disparities
Are you interested in learning more about how place can impact health? We have a new tool that allows you to look up Washington State information by location, including:
- Health outcomes.
- Social determinants of health.
- Economic determinants of health.

Washington State Chronic Disease Profiles
The Chronic Disease Profiles use various data sources to summarize the burden of chronic diseases and related risk factors by county, race/ethnicity and sexuality. The profiles can be used to plan interventions.
The Health of Washington State Report
The Health of Washington State Report has information on general health and safety, chronic and infectious diseases, environmental and occupational health, and healthcare services. The report also includes a chapter on the context of health, including social and economic disparities (PDF) and socioeconomic position (PDF).
County Health Rankings
County health snapshots are available through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's County Health Rankings. The snapshots include social and economic factors like income inequality.
Limited English Proficiency Population Estimates
The Office of Financial Management uses a combination of school data and census data to create population estimates for Limited English Proficiency persons. This data can be used to prioritize interpretation and translation services.
