Learning collaboratives are a useful method for adopting best practices in diverse settings. Learning collaboratives bring peers together to study and apply quality improvement methods to make improvements in a specific topic area. They have been used to launch medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) programs in primary care, to implement CDC opioid guidelines, and to implement programs relevant to overdose prevention.
