About the Webinar

The Washington Department of Health (DOH) hosted a webinar on Thursday, November 21, 2024, featuring Dr. Eva Meekins, a nurse educator with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr Meekins discussed current vaccine recommendations and strategies to prevent common vaccine administration errors. The webinar was recorded and can be watched at the link above. Continuing education (CE) credits are available for nurses, medical assistants, and pharmacists/pharmacy techs who watched the webinar or the recording.

  • Describe ACIP and CDC immunization schedules and recommendations.
  • Discuss child, adolescent, and adult vaccination and immunization recommendations.
  • Locate vaccination resources to assist with appropriate vaccine administration.
