School and Child Care Immunization Module

SCCI Wizard

The School and Child Care Immunization Wizard is a tool for questions about immunization requirements, forms, the School and Child Care Immunization Module, roster uploads and delegation requests.

The School and Child Care Immunization Module (SCCIM) is a free, secure, and easy-to use web-based tool that allows users to track and manage student, child and school-level immunization information. SCCIM is a feature of the Washington State Immunization Information System (WAIIS), an online registry of immunization records for people of all ages in Washington State. Using SCCIM improves the accuracy of immunization records, reduces paperwork and streamlines reporting to the Department of Health.

Overview

How the SCCIM Process Works

  1. Get Access
Your organization must first complete an Information Sharing Agreement (ISA). Once approved, staff can request SCCIM accounts.
  2. Set Up and Train
    1. Staff must complete required training and pass a post-test.
    2. Nurses may delegate access to trained staff under specific guidelines.
  3. Enter and Manage Data
You’ll build or upload rosters, enter immunization dates, and track exemptions or immunity.
  4. Use SCCIM Tools
Print Certificates of Immunization Status (CIS), generate compliance reports, and prepare for annual reporting.
  5. Submit Required Reports
Each fall, submit the official Immunization Status Report using data prepared in SCCIM.
