About the Collaborative
The WSPC is a volunteer group of public and private organizations, state agencies, health care providers, and community members committed to improving the health of Washington’s pregnant and postpartum people, their infants, and their families.
We work with a variety of partners to implement initiatives that improve perinatal health outcomes. Our work is based on recommendations from the Maternal Mortality Review Panel, best practice guidelines and research, and the needs of Washington families.
Join us for the Biannual WSPC Meeting - June 4, 2026
The WSPC holds twice a year meetings to share current priorities and projects, share updated perinatal data, and review most recent Maternal Mortality Review Panel (MMRP) Report findings and recommendations. This meeting is open to anyone interested in improving perinatal health in Washington state.

Project Highlights
Free Perinatal Mental Health Certification Training
Perinatal Support Washington is recruiting 30 mental health providers who want to receive their Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) and expand access for Medicaid participants.
We especially encourage applications from providers of color and those working with underserved or heard-to-reach communities.
