Office of Environmental Health and Safety Fee Rulemaking

The Department of Health adopted proposed fee changes for all programs within the Office of Environmental Health and Safety on October 31,2025. The adopted changes amend fees for programs within the Office of Environmental Health and Safety to cover the costs of the programs and account for funding reductions and increased expenditures from the 2025-2027 state budget (ESSB 5167) and increased program expenses. This adoption also includes making editorial updates, clarifying existing fees, and aligning with the Code Reviser’s 2025 Bill Drafting Guide. These fee rules will become effective on December 1, 2025.
