The rules writing process is open to the public. The public is welcome to take part in helping us write rules. Rules are also known as regulations, Washington Administrative Code, or WAC. The rule-making process includes public notices and workshops, and usually a public hearing before a rule becomes final.

CR-103P for X-ray Technician Fee Adjustment was filed with the Code Reviser as WSR 26-05-085 on February 18, 2026
The department has adopted amendments to WAC 246-926-990(3) X-ray technicians, to correct the error and return the application fee, mistakenly changed to $150, back to the accurate value of $105. The finalized amendments only adjust the erroneous fee charged to this specific radiologic imaging profession. The department received no opposing comments during the commenting period which closed on January 19, 2026. The rules will become effective 31 days after this filing on March 21, 2026.
