The Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (AASP) held its first meeting on September 13, 2016, in accordance with Governor Jay Inslee's January 2016 Executive Order (EO 16-02). Today, the AASP meets quarterly and is co-facilitated by Senator Tina Orwall and Michele Roberts of the Prevention and Community Health Division (PCH).
The Alliance brings together partners from across sectors to align efforts around the Washington State Suicide Prevention Plan, review data trends, learn about best practices from around the state, and connect with colleagues who are implementing suicide prevention in their own communities.
