Information and Technical Assistance
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please direct all general inquiries to our main line at 360-236-3030. Staff are available to assist with most questions immediately. As necessary, we will refer other questions to the appropriate staff for response.
The Southwest Regional Office regulates and provides technical assistance to over 2,266 Group A public water systems serving the following counties: Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Skamania, Thurston, and Wahkiakum

Engineering Staff
Regional engineering staff are responsible for the implementation of the state's drinking water engineering program in assigned counties. They conduct sanitary surveys and special purpose investigations of public water systems and promote needed water facility improvements. They are the lead specification reviewer for system improvements. They provide technical assistance to purveyors and local health departments upon request.

Planning Staff
Regional planning staff are responsible for the implementation of the state's drinking water planning program in assigned counties. They are the lead reviewers of Water System Plans, Small Water System Management Program Plans, Water System Consolidations, and Water Use Efficiency, Funding. They provide technical assistance to purveyors and local health departments upon request.
