WAC 246-976-800 Trauma Rehabilitation Service Standards

The Department of Health (department) filed on April 22, 2026 a CR-101, Preproposal for WAC 246-976-800, Trauma Rehabilitation Standards, WSR # 26-09-137. The department is considering amendments to WAC 246-976-800 to align with national standards and current clinical practice recommendations for inpatient trauma rehabilitation facilities.

Trauma Medical Director Workgroup Recommendations

In 2019 a workgroup comprised of all of the Trauma Medical Directors convened to draft a recommendation to the department regarding minimum/maximum designation determination criteria. The final recommendation document from this workgroup, Min/Max Workgroup Recommendation (PDF), is online.
