Continuing Education

There is no charge for continuing education credit.

Continuing education (CE) is available for (RN, LPN, ARNP), and medical assistants who attend live or watch the recording.

After watching the recording, please complete the evaluation survey. The survey must be completed to earn CE credit.

When attending live or watching the recording as a group, everyone must register for the webinar and complete the evaluation as an individual prior to receiving credit.

This knowledge-based activity was approved by the Washington State Pharmacy Association for 1.0 contact hours.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize your role within the 988-crisis line.
  • Understand how to integrate 988 Lifeline resources into your practice and community.
  • Explain the 988 Lifeline and available resources with staff as well as the populations you serve.
  • Differentiate between uses of the 988 Lifeline resources versus other 3- digit resource numbers (211, 911).

Presenter

As a 20-year advocate for community engagement, Elizabeth works to ensure communities have a seat at the table. Her interest in public health began as an undergraduate student at Viginia Tech and continued through her graduate studies at SDSU and Johns Hopkins. Starting her career at the FDA as a regulatory project manager to leading engagement and outreach for the 988 section at Department of Health, Elizabeth works with communities to collaborate and incorporate their voices. When Elizabeth isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and taking her dog for walks.
