About the Webinar

The Washington Department of Health (DOH) will host a webinar on Thursday, August 8, 2024, 12:00-1:00pm PDT. Department of Health staff will discuss current COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, vaccine ordering, and storage and handling guidelines. The webinar will be recorded, and continuing education is available for nurses and medical assistants.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for 2024-2025.
  • Describe vaccine ordering and availability through the WA DOH Childhood and Adult Vaccine Programs. 
  • Discuss current COVID-19 vaccine storage and handling guidelines.

Target Audience

Healthcare providers, health educators, and anyone interested in learning more details about COVID-19 vaccine recommendations.

Continuing Education

  • There is no charge for continuing education credit.
  • Continuing education (CE) is available for nurses and medical assistants for attending the live webinar OR watching the recording.
  • Even if you attend the live webinar or watch the recording as a group, everyone MUST register for the webinar and complete the evaluation as an individual prior to receiving CE.
  • More information about the process to receive CE credit will be posted after the webinar.
