February Credentialing Freeze: All licensing and credentialing systems for health professionals and facilities will be unavailable on Friday, February 14 from 5 p.m. until the morning of Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to complete system upgrades. Please complete your applications and renewals now to avoid delays.

Health Professions Online Renewal

Have your information ready before you start. There is a $2.50 convenience fee required to use the online service when paying by credit/debit card. This amount will be charged in addition to your fee(s). There is no additional convenience fee for ACH payments. Make sure any name and address change you submitted have been processed. 

Some professions have additional online renewal requirements. Find out what you'll need:

Effective, March 15, 2022, the DOH Health Systems Quality Assurance customer service counter is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for submission of payments and documents. Payments and credentialing documents can also be deposited in the drop box outside of our counter location. It is checked daily.

Washington Health Workforce Survey - Please take the Washington Health Workforce Survey when you renew. Results will help promote your profession and aid our knowledge of the health care workforce. Check the list on this webpage to see if your profession is being surveyed.
