The rules writing process is open to the public. The public is welcome to take part in helping us write rules. Rules are also known as regulations, Washington Administrative Code, or WAC. The rule-making process includes public notices and workshops, and usually a public hearing before a rule becomes final.

Current Rules in Progress
The Department of Health (department), in accordance with House Bill (HB) 2113 (chapter 10, Laws of 2026), Supervision of radiologic technologists, is considering amendments to multiple rule sections in chapter 246-926 WAC Radiologic Technologists. The department is welcoming interested parties to subscribe to Radiologic Technologist GovDelivery Listserv to receive important updates to include the CR101 filed as WSR 26-13-063 on June 12, 2026, rules workshops dates/time/location, and the suggested edits to Chapter 246-926 WAC, to implement the new law which became effective on June 11, 2026.
