Electronic file transfer options

You have the option of applying to CRS using HELMS online application or via email/paper application process.

HELMS Online Application

• We encourage you to apply using the new HELMS online portal. The online portal will allow users to submit applications, pay for projects via credit card or ACH, submit documents for review, request conferences and technical assistance, track project status, cancel projects, request close-out/final approval, and download approval documents.

Email/Paper Application Process

• For email and paper applications, CRS uses www.box.com as its file transfer method. You will receive a link and instructions via email for setting up a box.com account when we receive your application and fee. Each project will have its own folder labeled with the CRS project number and project title which will allow you to upload/download electronic documents. For more information:
