Purpose
Two webinars are scheduled on May 14 and May 15 to learn strategies to increase vaccination rates in children under 3 years of age, address common questions about vaccine concerns, and talk about vaccines through motivational interviewing techniques. The webinars will be recorded and continuing Education (CE) credits will be available for nurses and medical assistants. An account in TRAIN.org is required to obtain and download CE certificates.

Learning objectives
- Describe vaccination rates in children under 3 years of age in three rural communities
- Discuss strategies to increase vaccination rates in children under 3 years
- Share effective communication strategies when answering questions from patients and families
- Discuss motivational interviewing techniques to increase vaccine confidence
Audience
The webinar is geared towards attendees in Mason, NE Tri, and Okanogan counties, including health care providers, LHJs, tribal partners, managed care organizations, early learning programs and schools, and others who are interested in this topic.

- Even if you attend the live webinar or watch the recording as a group, everyone MUST register for the webinar and complete the evaluation as an individual prior to receiving CE.

Continuing Nursing Education
Continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Montana Nurses Association. MNA is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Up to 2.0 contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of this activity.
