PRAMS, the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, is the best routine source of information on personal experiences before, during and after pregnancy in Washington. It provides data not available from other sources and is used by researchers, program staff, policymakers, and health care providers to improve outcomes for birthing people and their babies.
How PRAMS Data Are Used
PRAMS data help identify populations at higher risk for health problems, track changes in health status over time, and measure progress toward improving maternal and infant health. State and local governments use this data to plan and evaluate health programs and policies.
