Coverdell Stroke Program Partners
Coverdell partners are hospitals, Emergency Medical Services agencies, and other health and community service providers participating in the Washington Coverdell Stroke Program. They have made a commitment to improve stroke care within their organizations and to work with each other to better coordinate care from the time patients call 9-1-1 to the time they go home and get follow up care and services. Coverdell partners also collect and use data as a way to improve care, and educate their communities about the signs and symptoms of stroke, the importance of time and calling 9-1-1, and how to prevent stroke.
