OLYMPIA – The state Department of Health has suspended the license of King County acupuncturist or acupuncture and eastern medicine practitioner Gon Kim (AC00002784) pending further legal action.
Charges state Kim engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior with a patient on at least two occasions. Allegations also state Kim failed to obtain consent, explain a health care-related necessity before procedures, and failed to meet the standard of care.
Kim cannot practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and ask for a hearing.
