On April 4, 2022 NCQAC is reinstating late fees for all late license renewals and reactivations.
We requested the waiver of late fees for renewals and reactivations on March 31, 2020 under WSR 20-08-125. We did this to help nurses return to active status in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Starting Monday April 4, 2022 all late renewals must include the $50 late fee. All reactivation applications must include both the $50 late fee and the $70 expired license reissuance fee.
