Thurston County massage therapist suspended on allegations of sexual misconduct

OLYMPIA – State health officials suspended the license of Thurston County massage therapist Timothy J. Cosden (MA.60071009) pending further legal action.

Cosden has displayed a pattern of sexual misconduct against clients. Criminal charges have been filed against Cosden for fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation, a gross misdemeanor, in Thurston County District Court.

The suspension prohibits Cosden from practicing as a massage therapist in Washington in order to protect patient safety and public health. He has 20 days to request a hearing to contest the charges and the suspension.
