Washington nurse’s license suspended after being arrested for sexual abuse

OLYMPIA – State health officials suspended the credential of registered nurse Thato Mbakiso Masotja (RN61370671) pending further legal action. Masotja has a Clackamas County, Oregon address, but is licensed in Washington.   

Masotja was formally indicted in the state of Oregon Clackamas County Circuit Court and arrested on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, class B felonies.

Masotja cannot practice in Washington until the charges against his license are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and to ask for a hearing.
