A licensed osteopathic physician and surgeon must complete and document 150 hours of continuing education (CE) every three years. At least 60 hours must be category 1A, and all remaining hours may be fulfilled in any of the approved categories. Review WAC 246-853-070 for examples of training options within each category.
Newly licensed osteopathic physicians must complete two one-time training courses within their first CE cycle on the following topics:
