The virtual 2022 Food Safety Workshop presentations are being hosted November 10-18. This year’s session will focus on the importance of proper cooling methods and a review of recent foodborne disease outbreak data along with the lessons learned. Additionally, you can join us for a daily snippet of information related to the new food code requirements and the tools available.

Registration for each session is required. WSBRS CEUs will be pre-approved. Presentation slides will be available online after the sessions have concluded.

In this presentation, we will discuss the public health significance of proper cooling methods, the pathogens of concern, and associated illnesses and outbreaks. We will review how to cool food safely following proper procedures and how to evaluate cooling in retail settings.
