Providers and Infection Preventionists
Explore opportunities for onsite training, mentorship, networking, and interactive meetings for providers and infection preventionists (IPs). Stay updated on critical topics through skill demonstrations, education sessions, and collaborative forums.
- Critical Access Hospital IP Coffee Hour is a monthly networking opportunity for Critical Access Hospital (CAH) IPs. Our goal is to encourage interaction and connections between CAH IPs, seek advice and discuss current topics in a supportive, non-regulatory platform. This forum is facilitated by IPs certified in infection control (CIC) with experience working in CAHs.
- Coaching and Mentoring Program for Novice IPs is offered through the Infection Prevention and Control Program. If you are a new IP or want to brush up on your knowledge, email the program at HAI-FieldTeam@doh.wa.gov to set up a coaching or mentoring session with one of our IPs.
- The Outpatient Network is an opportunity for IPs and others in outpatient settings to collaborate on projects and discuss infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship in this setting.

- LHJ-HAI MDRO Partner Call: Monthly opportunity to learn about new multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO) focused guidance, share challenging situations, and strategize about addressing MDROs. Contact MDRO-AR@doh.wa.gov to join.
- Monthly HAIAR Meeting for LHJ and Tribal Partners: DOH meets with LHJ and Tribal Partners on the third Thursday of each month. LHJ and Tribal Public Health partners can sign up for these calls by emailing HAI@doh.wa.gov
