Community Health Worker Conference

Each year, the Heart Disease, Stroke, and Diabetes Prevention Unit hosts the Community Health Worker Conference. This conference is for community health workers from across the state to come together to learn new skills, support and empower each other, and showcase their own successes.

Trainings

The Heart Disease, Stroke, and Diabetes Prevention Unit offers in person trainings for healthcare professionals including clinic staff, community health workers, community organizations (such as churches and fitness clubs), employee wellness groups, and public health professionals. Our team will come to your location, free of charge, and provide one of two trainings:
