Tools for Action

Having a plan to work from helps individuals, organizations, and communities succeed in their suicide prevention work. We provide examples of DRAFT action plans for you to use in planning efforts. We have based each action plan on an objective in one goal of Washington State's Plan for Youth Suicide Prevention. They do not represent all objectives of the suicide prevention plan. The drafts may not reflect your community or organization's actual approach. We want you to make it yours! The purpose of these sample plans is to help you get started, to encourage you to be thoughtful in your approach and to help you be successful.
