Pursuant to Governor Inslee's Proclamation (21-14.1), starting October 19, 2021, the Department of Health will require all contractors and vendors to have certified their employees are fully vaccinated if those employees:
- Are required to perform work in-person and on site;
- Hold health care licenses or are authorized to practice professionally without a license, regardless of where they work; and/or
- Provide services in-person where students or people receiving services are present.
The Department of Health is actively contacting impacted contractors and vendors with details on the Department of Health's contractor vaccine verification process. Contractors and vendors without a valid email address on file with us should submit the required certification form and questions to DOHCon.Mgmt@doh.wa.gov.
Both the Governor's Vaccine Mandate Frequently Asked Questions page and the Department of Enterprise Services' COVID-19 information page provide more details on the contractors and vendors subject to this new requirement.
We'll continue to update this page with additional information as it becomes available.
