Summary

Washington State Department of Health Office of Infectious Disease is seeking applications from organizations interested in providing Ryan White Core or Supportive services to people living with HIV in Washington state.

How to Apply
  1. Read the entire RFA. Make sure you meet the minimum qualifications to apply (found on page 8).
  2. Compile and submit your questions (due no later than 5pm on April 18).
  3. Review and select the service category(ies) you will apply for.
  4. Download, complete, attach, and email:
    • Application using the following title format: ORGANIZATION NAME_RYAN WHITE_APPLICATION
    • Budget worksheet.
    • Other attachments listed as required (i.e. org chart, position descriptions, memoranda of understanding, and letters of support (if applicable).

Summary

Washington State Department of Health Office of Infectious Disease is seeking applications from organizations interested in providing disease prevention and linkage services centering HIV, STI, viral hepatitis, and drug user health to individuals and communities in Washington state.

Eligible Program Activities

This RFA funds Syndemic Approaches to Infectious Disease & Linkage Services. You may apply for one, many, or all of the following service categories:

  1. Community-based integrated infectious disease testing and linkage to services in high-impact settings.
  2. Syndemic service navigation.
  3. PrEP housing & supportive services for BIPOC gay and bisexual men and other men who have sex with men and their sexual networks (pilot program).
  4. Syringe service programs:
    • Operational support,
    • Harm reduction care navigation, and
    • Clinical services.
  5. Mail-order naloxone project.
  6. Mail-order condom project
  7. Innovative syndemic community engagement and community-driven capacity building projects.
How to Apply
  1. Read the entire RFA. Make sure you meet the minimum qualifications to apply (found on page 7).
  2. Compile and submit your questions (due no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 18, 2023).
  3. Review and select the service category (ies) you will apply for. Make sure you can meet the requirements of the service category.
  4. Submit a separate application for each service category
  5. For each application, download, complete, attach, and email:
    • Application packet for the service category you are applying for. Save the document using the following title format: ORGANIZATION NAME_SYNDEMIC_SERVICE CATEGORY TITLE (i.e. DOH_SYNDEMIC_Community Based Integrated Testing).
    • Submit a separate application for each service category
    • Budget worksheet (12-month annual budget).
    • Other attachments listed as required for the service category (i.e. org chart, position descriptions, memoranda of understanding, and letters of support (if applicable).
