The Office of Immunization, Immunization Information System Section supports the development, functionality, availability and maintenance of the Washington Immunization Information System as a tool to promote healthy families and protect against vaccine-preventable disease. This includes:
- Provide excellent customer service to support WAIIS users & WAIIS applications
- Continuously update & improve system functionalities to meet new requirements
- Incorporate diversity, equity & inclusion measures to programmatic functions
- Support & expand PrepMod vaccination clinic tool
- Build a sustainable program that is properly resourced
- Improve WAIIS data accuracy & completion through partnerships & initiatives
