Join a Beyond the Pathways Panel
The Beyond Pathways Program is a monthly panel for Pathways Professionals. Each session highlights different public health offices, work and employees' career journeys into public health at the Department of Health (DOH). The series allows Pathways Professionals to:
- Connect with public health professionals across the agency
- Learn more about governmental public health
- Gain awareness of public health career opportunities
If you or your team would like to participate in a Beyond Pathways Panel, please complete the volunteer interest form.
Become a Professional Placement Site
Any program within DOH can serve as a professional or intern placement site.
The Pathways Program relies on DOH partnerships to place our Pathways Professionals, Interns, and Scholars Nursing Students. Program participants come from a wide array of backgrounds, communities and experiences and may have little or no direct experience within public health and government work. Email the Pathways Program to learn how you can become a professional placement site.
Mentor or Provide Professional Development
As a mentor, you will build a meaningful professional relationship with a Pathways Professional and provide career experience and guidance. If you have a short-term project idea, consider offering a professional learning opportunity (PLO). Learn more about mentoring and professional learning opportunities.
