Why should I be concerned about carbon monoxide poisoning?

Carbon monoxide is a gas you cannot see or smell. Breathing high levels of carbon monoxide can cause severe illness or death. Most carbon monoxide poisoning occurs in fall and winter months. You can prevent monoxide poisoning.
