The Immunize WA awards honor clinics that meet immunization coverage goals for childhood, adolescents, and HPV dose initiation for 9- and 10-year-olds. In 2025, we’re celebrating the program’s 11th anniversary!
Providers must self-nominate. Don't miss this opportunity to nominate your clinic! Nominations close July 15, 2025.
Award recipients will be announced on August 20, 2025, during National Immunization Awareness Month.

About the Health Plan Partnership & Immunize WA
The Immunize WA Awards are supported by The Health Plan Partnership, a cooperative alliance of the Department of Health (DOH), Health Care Authority, Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (WCAAP), Within Reach and all the major health plans in Washington. This program recognizes clinics that reach immunization rates of 70 percent or higher in child and adolescent patient populations and now those that reach 25 percent or higher immunization coverage by initiating the first dose of HPV for 9 and 10-year-olds. What is Immunize Washington?
Immunize Washington is a partnership between public health, health plans and other organizations that aims to:
- Increase immunization rates at the clinic level by using best practice tools and the Washington State Immunization Information System (IIS).
- Support activities to provide on time vaccination to children and adolescents.
- Encourage clinics to measure their immunization rates so they know where they are doing well and areas to improve.
- Engage in immunization quality improvement activities.
- Help Washington meet national goals for child and teen vaccines.
