Grief Support

Grief Support & Resources

There are resources available for those who have lost a loved one to suicide or are supporting a loved one after a suicide attempt. There are many support groups for people who have lost a loved one to suicide in Washington.

The Department of Health does not work directly with the groups mentioned below so please contact them for current information.

Crisis Connections offers CC Cares, peer support and care packages for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. See their website for details.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has an online database of support groups, which might have additional programs, and the WA Chapter can connect you with the Healing Conversations Program for survivors of suicide loss.
