If the Department of Health is considering awarding a sole source contract or procurement order, the information is posted below. Sole source contracts and procurements are available for public review for at least 10 working days before the contract or procurement order starts.

Sole Source Contracts

CBO28049-0 Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) Sole Source Contract to be Awarded

Purpose: The Department of Health seeks to provide a training curriculum focused on hazing prevention among high school students. The curriculum will be implemented in conjunction with Coaching Boys Into Men and Athletes as Leaders. WSCADV has partnered with Harborview Abuse and Trauma Center to implement these trainings.

PRV28158-0 The Montana Institute Sole Source Contract to be Awarded

Purpose: The Department of Health seeks to provide specialized expertise on the development of a collaborative process including training and technical assistance to inform the development of a Positive Community Norms campaign. DOH requires expertise in Science of the Positive and Positive Community Norms approaches to fulfill the requirements of Essentials for Childhood initiative. The approaches were developed by Dr. Jeff Linkenbach, Director and Chief Research Scientist at The Montana Institute.

PRV27624-0 Desautel Hege Communications, Inc. Sole Source Contract to be Awarded

Purpose: The Department of Health seeks to implement a suicide prevention campaign for tribal communities that will build upon existing guidance provided by tribal partners and prior prevention accomplishments. DOH will partner with HCA to build a suicide prevention campaign that will accompany and compliment the Washington Tribal Opioid Solutions campaign.

CBO27878 WithinReach Sole Source Contract to be Awarded

Purpose: Improve the health of WA State residents through greater access to services and education relating to immunizations.

PRV27376-0 Arcora Sole Source Contract to be Awarded

Purpose: The Washington State Department of Health contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Arcora Foundation, LLC to aid with our state’s “Smile Survey” is known as the Basic Screening Survey (BSS). DOH works with the CDC’s Division of Oral Health’s Oral Health Epidemiologist who works with states for consistence in methodological approach for the data results of this survey to be submitted to the National Oral Health Surveillance System (NOHSS). NOHSS is designed to track oral health surveillance indicators based on data sources and surveillance capacity available.

Notice of Competitive Solicitations

DOH PHL RFQ27809 Ground Maintenance/Snowplow and or Removal

Purpose: The Washington State Department of Health, Public Health Laboratory is conducting a competitive procurement to award Contract(s) to acquire Grounds Maintenance-Landscaping/Snowplow and/or Removal.

RFQQ 26890- Vaccine Implementation Collaborative

Purpose: The Washington State Department of Health intends to award a contractor to provide technical and logistical assistance, program management and support to the Vaccine Implementation Collaborative, including partner engagement, communication, and outreach efforts.
