There are many reasons why fruits and vegetables might not make it into your diet. The Washington State Department of Health and other organizations across the state are working together to offer SNAP Match programs that make fruits and vegetables easier to buy.

If you use SNAP/Basic Food/EBT to buy food, these programs are for you. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Match programs increase your food benefit so you can purchase more fruits and vegetables. These programs are available in farmers markets and grocery stores. Click on the icons below to learn more!

The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 43.70.780 authorizes the Department of Health to administer the Fruit and Vegetable Incentives Program, which includes SNAP Match programs. Definitions and rules for the program are available in chapter 246-770 WAC.
