Burley Lagoon, Filucy Bay, Rocky Bay SPDs / Pierce County PIC

PCD conducts “windshield surveys” of the SPD areas on an irregular basis. Farms are assessed for their potential risk to water quality based on farm management practices. These maps are used to help advise outreach programs and focus resources for BMP implementation.

Kitsap Public Health District: KCD conducts windshield surveys to inventory and rank farms. Kitsap Health confirms potential pollution sources on high priority farms through windshield surveys.
