What We Do
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is a nationally recognized, fully accredited public health agency serving nearly 8 million people. With a team of nearly 3,000 health professionals and a 2-year budget of $2.5 billion, DOH works to protect and improve community health in partnership with 35 local health departments, 29 federally recognized Tribes, 100 hospitals, and many public, private, and community organizations.
