In the Executive Office of Public Affairs and Equity, we lead our agency in communications, health promotion and education, and community relations and equity. We work with local health, tribal partners, and many others to share health knowledge with all Washingtonians.
We do this by:
- Communications and messaging through media, press releases, social media, our website, email subscriptions, graphic design, and videography.
- Planning health and education programs to help the health needs of communities and follow through to make sure they work.
- Holding the value that everyone should get what they need to feel their highest level of health (health equity)—and getting this through social justice, diversity and inclusion, and by listening to our communities.
