Rules in Progress
The rules writing process is open to the public. The public is welcome to take part in helping us write rules. Rules are also known as regulations, Washington Administrative Code, or WAC. The rule-making process includes public notices and workshops, and usually a public hearing before a rule becomes final.

Current rules in progress
In response to public comment received at the July 22, 2022, Examining Board of Psychology meeting, the board has scheduled a series of rules workshops to take place in September. These workshops will allow the public to provide feedback on the proposed changes to the licensure requirements for practicing psychology in Washington state. Each workshop will focus on a specific topic, and we ask that the public come prepared to offer ideas, solutions, and other feedback. In the coming weeks, the board will provide additional information about what topics will be discussed at the workshops and how members of the public may provide comment.
