2E2SSB 5536 (PDF) revised RCW 71.24.590 to no longer require the Department of Health to conduct public hearings for proposed opioid treatment programs (OTPs) and instead requires the department to provide a public notice to all appropriate media outlets in the community in which the OTP is proposed to be located that states the applicant is proposing a facility in that community.
