Contact WIC

Do you have thoughts or feedback about WIC? We’d love to hear from you!

Each year the Washington WIC develops a plan for providing services in our state. The WIC State Plan is a requirement for all WIC state agencies from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The plan explains how we will use our federal funds to provide healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other services, to qualified families in Washington. As we work on refining our program plan for next year, we invite your comments on WIC services. Please share your comments on:

  1. What do you like about WIC?
  2. What would you like to change about WIC?
  3. Are we missing anything in the services families receive from WIC?

To make it easier for Washington families to make healthy choices, WIC provides a broad range of services from healthy foods and nutrition education, to help with getting preventive health services like prenatal care, immunizations, dental care, and family planning. Breastfeeding promotion and support are also important program priorities.

Every year, Washington WIC provides over $81 million worth of nutritious food to more than 195,655 women and children. More than half of all infants born in Washington receive benefits from the WIC nutrition program.
