Approved Product List (APL) and Produce Mapping

WIC Authorized Product List

Our WIC Authorized Product List for vendors (Excel) includes product codes (UPCs and PLUs), a short product description, container types, and unit of measure. We post an updated list monthly. This list is for reference. Washington WIC's Authorized Product List (APL) is available from the FIS VeriCentre database. You can email questions and comments to WIC food experts at WAWICFoods@doh.wa.gov.

Produce Mapping

Match UPCs of fresh fruits and vegetable in your Point of Sale system to PLUs found in the Washington Authorized Product List (Excel). See our Produce Mapping document (PDF) and WIC Produce Mapping Requirements (PDF) for more information.

Join our WIC Vendor Advisory Committee!

The WIC Vendor Advisory Committee serves as a forum for the Washington State WIC Nutrition Program to solicit input from the vendor community on items important to WIC and our vendor partners alike. We value and appreciate ideas and suggestions from the vendor community.

The committee meets three to four times per year via GoTo Meeting. We may ask input to help guide decisions and shape outcomes for vendors across Washington State.

If you are interested in becoming part of the committee, please contact us at wicretailmanagement@doh.wa.gov.
